This Antique Victorian Sterling Silver cuff bangle is beautiful.

Circa 1880

Inlaid with Gold Forget Me Nots, which are a rosy Gold colour with age, and Yellow Gold foliate motifs.

This bangle has Silver detail across the front leading to the sides, showing beautiful workmanship from the Victorian period.

Forget me not, O Lord! is what a poor German knight shouted as he fell into a river. He and his lady were picking flowers by the side of the river at the time when the poor knight suddenly fell in and sank to the bottom.

Upon his cries to the Lord, he threw the blue posy of flowers to his loved one. Hence, the concept of remembrance, eternal love and faithfulness grow from this.

It looks wonderful when worn, such a statement piece steeped in history!
